About Me.
With over 15 years of experience in air transport management, my career has been a blend of academic rigour and industry advisory work. My research and advisory work cover a wide range of topics, including strategy, airline networks, airport connectivity, route development, strategic airport management, and sustainability efforts within the aviation sector.

Currently, I hold the position of Full Professor of Air Transport Management at the Open University of Catalonia in Spain, and I serve as a Senior Lecturer of Air Transport Management at Cranfield University in the UK. My previous academic roles include being a Graduate Faculty member at Central Washington University in the USA, along with positions at various other institutions in Spain and The Netherlands.

My contributions to the field are extensive, with over 40 peer-reviewed publications and participation in more than 70 conferences worldwide. I am recognized as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in the UK and accredited as a Full Professor by the Catalan Agency of University Quality (AQU), highlighting my commitment to academic excellence.

In the realm of research and consultancy, I have spearheaded projects funded by research councils and provided advisory services to a diverse set of clients, including airlines, airports, and government bodies, on a global scale. My ability to communicate complex ideas effectively has been showcased through my involvement in industry conferences, executive meetings, and high-level political forums. I have also been featured in international press and media outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, CNN, Forbes, BBC, and La Vanguardia, among others.
